This is the #4110WS Electronic Freight Set that Lionel made circa 1948. This O Gauge Set includes the #4671R Steam Turbine, the #4671W Whistle Tender, the #4452 Pennsylvania Gondola, the #4454 Baby Ruth Box Car, the #5459 Automatic Ore Dump Car, the #4357 Illuminated SP Caboose, the ECU Controller with an extra RCA vacuum tube, the VW 150 Watts Transformer, a pair of 022 O Gauge Remote Control Switches, the #97 Operating Coal Loader and the #151 Operating Semaphore. This was the most expensive set that Lionel sold until the introduction of the 1964 Hudson Freight Set. Our Opinion is that this Set is generally in Like New Minus Condition, very minor signs of use and age. Very bright paint with some minor wear to a few of the decals. We did not test the set. No Set Box. The Interior Boxes range from (7) to (9) Condition with some missing flaps. Please look at all 44 photos as you can readily determine the condition of the boxes from them. This is a perfectly matched set with the correct 1948 boxes and 1948 instruction sheets that are all original and not assembled. All Original in our Opinion. Please add $50.00 for US-48 Shipping and Insurance.
